Looking for a touch laptop model recommendations, and wanted to gather some consensus/advice on Anandtech :)

After using a mac for about a year, its painful to remember the poor build quality we were subjected to w/ PC builds. With Ultrabooks things have gotten somewhat better.

Specs (flexible)
- SOLID build quality, good touch & keyboard - this is a deal-breaker
- 11.6" - 12.x" range, possibly 13" if really worth it
- i3 or greater / 4GB min
- SSD preffered (not a deal breaker if upgrade)

Workloads:
- general windows usage
- web, ms office, emails
- media consumption

Asus makes an 11.6 in tablet that I have seen in best buy. I haven't used it, bit it looks like a nice unit. It has a ulv i3, 4gb ram, and a touch screen.

That Acer unit another poster listed got a rather lukewarm review on notebook check.net I believe.
It is a new temesh unit with good graphics but the CPU is rather weak.

Not a laptop so not sure if its a deal breaker but we've converted fully to using the Acer W700P Windows 8 tablets.

Full function of a computer in tablet form. They make a consumer and pro version. Consumer version has an i3, 4gb ram, 64gb ssd and Windows 8 standard. Think these are about $800

Pro version: (we order these solely)
Win 8 pro, i5, 4gb, 128gb ssd, $1000ish

Amazon link with a few different models:

We've been getting the 6821's. We've done some training on the new interface with Windows 8 and how to navigate without a start button. Our users are loving them. Like the portability, liking simplicity in the interface after adjusting and the battery life of the tablet. We also pin programs and shortcuts to the desktop for ease.

Biggest pro/con is screen res. at full 1080p on an 11inch screen it looks very sharp but is small for some of our users to read. We've adjusted by changing their red to 1600x900 and have had no complaints.
