Windows 8.1: Touchscreen or High Resolution

Which one? I play a lot of games. I could go with a Dell 27" Monitor with 2560 x 1440p or a touchscreen monitor by Dell with 1920 x 1080p. Which is better?

Depends on your use case, and desktop games aren't using any touchscreen gestures. Touchscreen is nice on tablets but its a gimmick for standard desktop usage. Touchscreen is useful if you're standing up and using it as a POS system or mounting it on to a coffee table.

Touchscreen works very well on tablets and smartphones. But when extended to laptops and desktops, ergonomics gets thrown out the window. I can't fathom why would Intel promote their over sized tablet when a typical 7"/10" would be lighter and have similar functionality (W8.1 tablets).
