I just finished building a Windows 8.1 PC as a media server in my house and having some issues with sharing files on my home network. They both share the same Home group and Work group.
PC 1 - Windows 8.1 for regular use.
PC 2 - Windows 8.1 PC with OS on SSD and two 3TB drives for storage.
PC 2 I have all the sharing settings turned on. Also under each 3tb properties-->security I have Usernames: Guest and Everyone with full control permissions.
So when using PC 1 under network PC 2 shows up and I can access both 3TB drives. One of the 3TB drives I can modify from PC 1 but the other says I can't. From my Macbook I also don't have permissions to modify anything on this one drive.
Is there something else I'm missing with sharing with this Windows 8 PC?
Thanks
