Windows 8.1 booting issue solved

I installed W8.1 on my mostly new PC with a Z87X-UD4H MB and got some annoying message in the corner about secure boot not being configured correctly.

Google it and I had to "load default keys" in the bios. Well that fixed the message but now the computer would only boot if I had my monitor plugged into the integrated video output. Spent many hours trying to figure this out and finally read that the video card must have a UFEI bios for it that to work. My card is a couple years old (5850) and doesn't.

Reinstalled W8.1 with secure boot disabled and now it works fine and I also don't get the annoying message.

Seems strange the default setting is secure boot enabled but have the keys not loaded.
