windows 7 x64 question

I am considering upgrading to 7 x64 from vista 32. i'm wondering if I will run into any significant issues during my upgrade.
help would be appreciated.

You have to do a clean install. 32 bit operating systems are not 'Upgradeable" to 64 bit.

and by a clean install you mean wiping the hard drive, or just removing the os?
