windows 7 wont install atikmag?

ok so went to install windows 7 first time through it gave bsod saying atikmag begining dump then restarted before i even read it. next time i just formated drive and started over it just hung. Must be hardware error i will try to install it on diff pc next or switch gfx or switch psu. Sucks
 
heheh no replys.. i just got home from chucky cheese and shopping swapped back to 8800gts and my motherboard was happy and so was windows 7.. now my games wont be to happy but might try updating mobo bios and swapping cards now that the install is done. now i just have to figure out where all the drivers for stupid 64bit windows 7 are ;/
 
Out of curiosity, what ATI card were you trying to use? If I'm understanding you right, it sounds like the default drivers that come with Win7 were what was causing the BSOD.
 
4850 not sure if it was win7 problem but sure seemed like it. i didnt have much patience will flash bios or try same card with win7 install on diff mobo later
