Windows 7 won't boot

I installed windows seven awhile ago and it had worked great. I changed the active partition to my win7 partition and now windows won't boot. I tried using repair on the disk and it finds no issue. The first two times it did.Is it because the primary partition is different? Windows did say t repaired the mbr. How do I change it back to primary?

What do you mean when you say it won't boot? Does it try loading and fail, or does it not see the windows install to boot from? If it's failing, what error code is it failing with. If it can't see the win7 partition, its probably because you changed the primary partition off of the one that contained the boot loader. Windows needs the master boot record to load, and its repair function for the mbr is sketchy at best.
