Windows 7 WMP12 Song "skip" feature?

Hi!

I've been playing with the RC version of Windows 7 for the last couple of days.

The other day, I was playing a couple of song in windows media player 12 and I noticed a new feature? that allowed me to jump back to the specific time when I skipped a particular song...

So, I was playing song A, and pressed next in the middle of it and it switched to the next song...but then, when I pressed back, it jumped to the time when I skipped song A, and it would do the same when I pressed next to song B.

However, I cannot get WMP12 to do this again!

Well, I finally was able to reproduce the feature mentioned above....So far, I can only do it when switching playlists, but I'll continue trying!

It sounds like you're describing "Preview" if you mouse over another track and hit "Preview" a skip button appears on the little dialog that lets you skip further along in the song you're previewing and when you move the mouse out of the little preview window, it resumes the previously playing track exactly where it left off.

It's not the preview mode.....I know what that is...

This "JUMP" mode I can only make it happen with 2 playlists loaded.

It's pretty cool because pressing back or next will play the song exactly from when it was first skipped!
