Windows 7 with IE8 question

Anyone know how to stop this annoying navigation click noise in IE8 under Windows 7? Disabling Start Navigation in Sounds no longer makes it go away.
 
No that is what I did and it disabled the annoying click in everything but IE. They have totally decoupled the browser from the OS in Windows 7 and I suspect this may have something to do with that no longer working. 🙁
 
disabling the "start navigation" sound in control panel also disabled it in IE8 (Win7 RC x86 and x64...)

 
Ok I figured out what was happening. At some point I changed the desktop background and this caused it to reset the sounds to match that "theme" and enabled my previously disabled click sound.
