Windows 7 virtualization question

Really would love to test the OS out but really do not want to go through the hassle of dual booting and such and just virtualize the installation.

VirtualBox lacked Aero support, are there any other solutions out there that will allow Aero to work?

I believe it's because VirtualBox lacks 3D hardware emulation.

I think every virtual machine host lacks 3D hardware emulation. I've never heard of a virtual machine doing anything 3D that wasn't purely software.

I think you're right... I didn't mean to imply that that's a shortcoming of VirtualBox.

Unfortunately no, it doesn't work.

Vmware drivers are not wddm compliant, so Aero doesn't work with them.

It has DX8 support for 2000 and XP... Doesnt get you close to Aero unfortunately.
