Are there any limitations like there were for vista? going from xp pro to vista home premium wouldn't work I know. Does Win7 have the same limitations? Where can I find the specifics? I have vista ultimate and thinking about going for the early upgrade on home premium, if possible.
 
$49 if you preorder Windows 7. It says you can upgrade from XP or Vista. I have XP so I am getting it. It is a great deal. You do have to do a clean install from XP though but that is no big deal.
 
Yes it has the same limitations:

1. Home to Home
2. Business to Pro
3. Ultimate to Ultimate
4. 32 to 64 can't be done
5. XP needs clean install
6. RC to RTM not officially supported
