2 strange problems with windows 7 x64 + some software

After watching a videoclip in BSplayer the computer goes to sleep even though BSplayer is set to do nothing when video is finished.

Sometimes when I've set win7 to hibernate at night it's turned on the next morning, how do I find out which software/win7 that turns on my computer.

Go to administrative tools/event logs and look at timelines under each category. That's where I found wake on lan was doing it and I disabled it.

Most Software applications have nothing to do with sleep.

In Win 7 (Vista too) the precise control is under Control Panel / Power Options, click on Change Plan, then click on Change Advance Power Setting.

In addition if a computer sleep it can wake up by itself, Hibernation is another issue.

it says activation source unknown, but I'll disable WOL to see if it helps.
