Hello,
Was hoping someone could help.
I installed Windows 7 on my sisters desktop a few days back, and ever since then, the internet on it would sporadically quit working, but it could still see the network Im still able to connect to my NAS and see other computers on the network.
Im thinking its a Windows 7 issue and not my router because all other computers and the playstation still have internet connection while this particular desktop does not. Im sure its not a hardware issue because the motherboard and Ethernet worked fine under XP with no issues.
So Im thinking its a Windows 7 issue or a Windows 7 driver issue. The motherboard is an Asus P5Q SE Plus, and I downloaded and installed the latest driver from the Asus website.
I do have a question, how do I uninstall the driver and go back to the one that comes with Windows 7? I mean, I know how to uninstall the driver, but how do I get the Windows 7 driver that was initially installed back on? I havent tried this, but Im thinking once I Uninstall the driver, Windows 7 wont automatically revert back to the one it came with. I apologize, Im at work and cannot test out this theory
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me? Any help with this is greatly appreciated
