Lots of "could" in the statement. But, let's face it - Windows 7 may well be Microsoft's economic recovery tool, and the sooner the better.

Late fall does look like a reasonable bet:

Yep, but don't you feel Sep is more likely? MS would want to do well in Q4, their stocks are looking grim right now, although it's a good time to buy their stocks, at least you know it will go up when Win 7 comes out.
