Windows 7 random freezing?

I only experienced this once, this morning. I brought the computer out of sleep mode, went to do an Adobe update and it froze up. Unable to CTRL ALT DEL, use mouse, pretty much do anything. I did not bother trying to let it go to see if it would eventually respond so I just hard reset the computer.

Anyone know of any issues of bringing it out of sleep and then something causing it to freeze up?

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit retail.
 
That has happened to me twice so far, but I haven't been using sleep. It is kind of troublesome... well that and IE sucks. If I remember correctly the freezing has been when using the IDE optical drives for my system.
