Windows 7, netbooks, and domains.

A vendor wants us to use netbooks for users out in the field. We want the netbook to be managed by AD. We also want to encrypt the drive. Supposedly no data will be kept on the netbook, but we don't trust vendors.

Does anyone know if you can even load windows 7 with encryption on a netbook? I know they have a netbook edition, but that edition does not have several of the features we require.
 
To use the advanced features you need a computer running either the Ultimate, Pro, or Enterprise version of the OS.

It might be slow on a Netbook but it should work. You have to try it on few different Netbooks and choose the best for the specific things that you want to do.
