windows 7 media center and AVerTVHD Duet turn off buffering

Is there a way to tell wmc to turn off the tv buffering. I don't need to pause or rewind live tv. I use this mainly to record tv shows and don't need it to do anything but record.

I suppose you could use this as a guide to lower the buffer values. I'm not sure disabling it completely would be a wise thing to do, even if you don't pause or rewind, or if WMC will function properly if you to disable it completely.

The buffer would only fill while watching live TV. I'm not sure there's any benefit to disabling it, even if you could.
