Windows 7 Libraries question

I love Windows 7 and the libraries are pretty cool, but there's one think that really annoys me.
The Libraries show the included folders in trees when I want the library to merge all the included folders into one library.

For example, instead of a library called Downloads, then a folder tree of C:/users/downloads and D:/Downloads, I want it to simply contain all of the files and folders in both of those directories inside of the library.

The Documents library does this by default, but it contains 2 folders that are both in the users directory. When I add another folder it changes to the folder-tree view.

Is there a way to change this?

Use the "Arrange by: Name" setting. To find it right click on a blank spot in the folder or it can be found on the far right end of the Library pane.

Thanks for the reply. That works, but I wanted it so that the folders are still intact. So instead of this:

Library
>FolderA>FolderX
>FolderB>FolderY
>FolderB>FileZ
it would just dump all the folders and files from the folders that the library points to directly into the library view, like this:

Library
>FolderX
>FolderY
>FileZ
