Windows 7 - Is there a way to disable sleep mode for specific hours?

I typically run my automated systems backups and scans in the middle of the night, but if I have sleep enabled (set to typically 30 min), the scans don't run.

With the temp so hot during the day now, I still want to make sure sleep is enabled during the day while I am at work.

Is there a program or a way to set sleep mode NOT to run during specific hours (for me, midnight to 6am)? Thanks!

no kidding my machine wakes up in the middle of the night (freaked me out one night) to do a scan and backup.

i don't sleep my inspiron 530. the nic card doesn't seem to recover on my network when it wakes. ever.

Well, there probably is, but couldnt you just shut the sucker down when you head out in the morning?

I only shut mine off when I want less noise or heat. I don't bother with any sleep or hibernation.
