I boot from DVD and it starts loading files, then I get a windows background. Then a window with options should pop-up (Clean Install, upgrade,...). The only problem is that it doesn't. Please, help.

There might be a problem with DVD-RW (new). In windows I can't read from CD's and DVD's, but I can write on them:confused:. But boots just fine from it (meaning it can read from them).

I finally got it installed (from USB). After installing some programs, I tried to read from DVD. No problem. Then I installed MagicISO, it woudn't read again. I re-installed Windows, did not install MagicISO, again it doesn't work. When I put in a DVD/CD, HDD lights up (no blinking) and stays that even after I remove the DVD/CD.

Sounds like a malfunctioning optical drive then, good to hear you got it resolved

Is the Windows install disc a DVD-R? If so, use better media. Memorex just doesn't cut it.
