Windows 7, hard drives power cycle repeatedly after resuming from sleep

Hi. I am running RAID 1 with two Hitachi 2TB HDDs on Intel Z68 chipset, running latest chipset and rapid storage drivers. I don't know when the problem begun, but after resuming from sleep, the two Hitachi HDDs (and only them) would power cycle repeatedly upon disk access. I can hear clicking sound and see HDD busy light every time the system try to access the RAID volume, along with 3-5 seconds delay before data is retrived. The power cycling repeats every 10 seconds or so if more disk access are made.

Note that without making the computer sleepat the first place, this problem never occurs no matter how long the computer has been turned on.

The HDDs themselves work fine. SMART tools reported no errors, nor HDD checks. They function perfectly as long as I don't sleep my computer.

I think this is similar to the posting below, but still no solution has been found other than do not sleep.

Are there any insights?

Thanks
