Windows 7 - Gaming fullscreen on two monitors, how?

I have been looking for a while now, how to be able to setup the games to run on two monitors in full screen mode, just like it was possible in windows xp. However, I have found that he same method is not supported in windows 7. Is there any way that I can get the games to see two 1920x1080 monitors as a single monitor, or do I need another graphics card, a third monitor, and the whole nvidia 3d vision thing to be able to do this?

To many issues arise with it.
1. game has to support it
2. field of view has to support it.
3. Driver shenanigans happen that break it after you get it working.

Graphics card is fine for it..you just have to find the handful of games that support it natively. (not many anymore)
