About a month ago my pc would randomly freeze and I would have to reboot it so it can work again. One day I wake up turn on my pc and I get a error windows failed to start, so i figured my ssd had gone wrong. I installed windows 7 on my other hard drive and everything went well for about 3 weeks, within that time i had a few freezes but i didnt pay much care to it.

Today i had the windows failed to start again, so my first thing was to install windows 7 on the ssd again, but this time during the installation the first reboot my monitor would not go on, the fans were still running. I had to unplug my power chord to get my monitor to work again and by doing this i got through the installation. A few seconds into the desktop screen my pc freezes and reboots, again my monitor was unresponsive.

I then installed an overlay windows 7 into one of my other hard drives, and my monitor again would not turn on during reboots so after unplugging it i got through the installation and again on the desktop screen like 3minutes in my pc freezes and reboots.

---------

What I have done so far

> took out 2 out my my 3 ram sticks only left one in
> memtested the 1 ram stick 2 passes about 40mins

windows 7 still freezes on desktop screen, my monitor still is unresponsive after reboots

------------

I installed ubunto as an overlay to one of my drives, and it did not solve my monitor issue, but it has been running for about 45 minutes and it has not frozen at all or rebooted.

I only rebooted it with ubuntu during the installation and my monitor was unresponsive again during that so i unplugged the chord and its been running fine for 45minutes.

I am running out of ideas to what the problem is.

I cleared the CMOS earlier today through the pins and didnt really do much.
