Windows 7 crashing from virus, can't sweep system

Hey,
I left my computer running for a few hours while I ran some errands, and returned to a blue screen. Upon reboot, a virus detection program popped up (perhaps a window virus program installed with OS). It detected multiple trojans and viruses. Before it finished I stupidly tried opening a browser to check something. This crashed my computer. Since then, any method of rebooting (except for safe mode without network) prompts a windows message saying that the system has detected an issue and has to reboot. This would continue in a never-ending loop.

I have since successfully rebooted in safe mode without a network connection. I think that all I need to due is run a virus sweep and have the program wipe them, however, I cannot turn on the windows virus program without a connection.
I put AVG virus protection on a disk and tried installing it while in safe mode, but again, I couldn't install it without a network connection.

I can't format the disk until I go back to school since they have the windows license to reinstall the OS.

Is there a way I can boot with a network connection without having the system auto-restart from winds detecting a problem?

Thanks!

Download and burn an offline bootable malware scanner. The F-Secure Rescue CD is one example, but there are several. You boot off the burned CD and it scans the hard drives for malware. Note that it may wreck Windows in the process, but that's the risk you take with malware removal.

In the future, I suggest keeping images of your system and data backups on backup disks so you can quickly restore your system and/or data. It's a LOT simpler and more reliable than removing malware.

Is there a way to prevent the error which says that windows has detected an issue and needs to restart? This only occurs while there is a network, and if I could boot with a network, I could scan the system for the malware.

How to make a bootable AV rescue disk:

If a rescue disk, (I have had limited success with these) does not work and you can get into Safe Mode then load up a flash drive with Rkill, Combofix, and Malawarebytes Anti-Malware with latest rules. Run Rkill first, do not reboot, then MAM, then Combofix if MAM doesn't work.

Downloads and how to use:
