Windows 7 Backup and Restore question

I set this up about a month ago. I set it to save everything to a disk that is not my OS disk. On the destination disk, these are the folders and their subfolders:

WindowsImageBackup
_Backup 2012-01-13 130004
_Catalog
_SPPMetadataCache
MediaID

XANADU
_Backup Set 2012-01-13 050001
MediaID

XANADU is the name of my PC.

Which one (or both) of these should I keep week to week?

Looks like you set it up to make an image and do a file system backup.

The first one is an image of the computer, to perform a full restore using a repair or OS disc.

The second one is a file system backup, for restoring individual files and folders.

If you're limited on space, archive the images only after installing/uninstalling software any major OS updates, and the file system backups once a week, or as frequently as you otherwise require.
