I have Windows 7 professional on a system with a 640GB WD Black HD as primary (OS, Apps, Games ETC) drive and two 640GB WD Blue HD's in RAID 0 as my storage drive (E Drive). After installing Windows 7 and getting the updates, i noticed that several new files and folders are popping up on my storage drive (EULA-10XX.txt, install.res.10XX.dll, VC-RED.MSI, locked folders name like: "c2627671c78ae2b7125cff"). Investigating further, it looks like these files correspond to the install for the Visual C++ Redistributable package. A Couple of questions:
A) Why did Windows 7 update place these files on my storage drive
B) For the sake of cleanliness can I remove/delete these files from my storage drive? Or can I uninstall the package and manually install it so it doesn't store all this crap on my E drive?
