Can anyone please confirm whether or not this behaviour is typical of Win7? I'm pretty sure it's my trackpad software, but I just need more evidence; I'm not able to go into a store and just try out demo machines.I'm beginning to think maybe my trackpad software is causing this problem (even though my trackpad is set to disabled while my mouse is plugged in).
It's just such an odd issue. I don't see why MS would make their OS behave this way, so I'm thinking it's some sort of bug.
The only way to fix it on my system is the following:No, that isn't a normal behavior. Usually, if you hover the cursor over an application in the taskbar, the image of the application window only remains as long as the cursor remains hovered. Once you move the pointer away, the image normally disappears shortly afterward.
It could be a problem with your trackpad driver, your trackpad configuration, or even a video driver issue.
