Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 SP1

Well, it's for Windows 7 and for Server 2008 R2.

"This early release of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta is not available for home users. The SP1 Beta does not provide new end-user features, and installation is not supported by Microsoft."

SP1 is going to give Hyper-V the option of oversubscribing memory for virtual machines, like some of VMWare's stuff can do.

Does this fix the backup in Win7?
According to MS' announcement today:

"For Windows 7, SP1 is simply a combination of updates already available through Windows Update and additional hotfixes based on feedback by our customers and partners."

That sounds like a "No". If the fix hasn't already been offered as an Update or a Hotfix, then it sounds like it's not in the Win7 side of SP1.
