Windows 7 and standby time

I'm running Windows 7 Pro, and my active power policy is configured to put the computer into standby after an hour of inactivity. However, on numerous occasions, I've come home to find my computer still running even though it should've been put into standby hours ago.

I've verified that my network card settings are configured only to wake the computer from a WoL packet (and no, nothing in my network is sending said packet). Also, if I manually put the computer into standby, it works fine. :\

Any ideas as to why Windows is ignoring my power policy?

Check your media sharing options under WMP. I had this enabled and it was keeping my machine from hibernating for some odd reason.
