The video upon initial loading (used Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic Homecinema, and GOM player) for the first 3 seconds or so but after that, it pauses the whole media player program.
And sometimes after the program pauses, any work I have done with other programs if I do too much pauses those applications too, leaving Windows to think until a good 2-3 minutes pass then things resume as normal.
But as for the media players, the sound resumes as normal but the video is then rushed forward to its supposed intended spot had the media player not paused leaving the sound and video out of sync.
I noticed disk activity suddenly jumped to 100% on the drive the video file playing is located and then jumps back to normal after the pause is done. the line turns blue during that time.
This is happening on Windows 7 RC1 (build 7100). This had not been an issue when I used an earlier Windows 7 beta build. Is this the wonders of Superfetch at work? All Windows 7 updates are in order.
Codecs used are CCCP. Using GOM player, I set it to use its built in codecs.
Anyone can point out a solution?
