Windows 7 64 start up problem,

Cannot get past the screen that says
---Windows installation cannot proceed, to install windows click ok to restart the computer then restart the installation--

I have tried the differant start ups from the bios and tried the recovery disc's but I continue to get the screen. What am I missing? Key used to proceed? Any help to get past this would be great.

Sounds like the hard drive is corrupted. Try the startup repair and if that doesn't work then delete the partition.

I've also had my woes with installing Windows 7 (much less other versions). The last time I had a problem it turned out to actually be the data written on the DVD disc itself was corrupt. Other than that, more likely the installation created a corrupt setup.exe or other important startup file. I'd recommend doing a complete wipe of your HDD/SDD and repartition it (clearing the master boot record as well helps tremendously I've found).
