Windows 7 1pk question regarding switching motherboard to another

I am in a process for maybe changing my current motherboard (see sig on main rig) Asus rampage III formula to another motherboard. Here are my question regarding the OS.

Question 1: I might be RMAing my board and hopefully getting another board of the same caliber but different part number, would re-installing my same OS into the other board render it not possible since I got 1pk version and not retail version?

Question 2: If I just decide to use another board but with all the other hardware still being used with this new motherboard (different model and/or manufacturer) could I still use the same OS pack that I did with the last configured rig with last motherboard used?

I'm asking these question because I just dont want to have to use a new other OS since I got me a 1pk version in which I can only install this version into only 1 computer and not another computer if I wanted or needed to upgrade or re-configure my rig.

I believe the official line is that you are not allowed to change hardware and reinstall on a "new machine".

In reality you can reinstall a whole bunch of times on totally different hardware, so long as you don't do it too often and only have it on one machine at a time. I have a 3-months figure in my head but I think I just read that somewhere once.
