i have a hp 5650 but i can't install it because there are no windows 64 bit drivers for it yet.

Asking here and waiting for replies is probably your best bet. I can't give you HP help, but here's some Canon news below.

I saw a notice recently at amdzone.com about where to get 64 bit drivers for the Canon IP series. http://software.canon-europe.com/ I didn't try them but it's a start.

Select your pixma model number, wait for page to refresh, select windows, wait for page to refresh, select english, wait for page to refresh, and scroll to the bottom of the page. Example is software #8 for ip4000 is driver windows XP 64. I still use win98se so I can't say how well or if they work.

I have an HP T45, I use the proxy R45 default drivers that normally comes with WinXP 32-bit edition. The reason why, is because I don't have to install from any files and because HP's version of the WinXP T45 sucks and is really buggy.
However, you have certain limitations, like some software support and bad things that happen 'cuz when I hit cancle on my printer the OS tells the printer to keep printing jibberish stuff until the computer is restarted lol
So if you're desperate try installing a model similar to the version of the printer and just do a force install then test it out
