what's new in the latest release of 64-bit windows. I was also wondering that after it's installed and then the real edition of windows XP64 comes out will the RC2 lose the ability to upgrade? or will it be that you can keep it up to date until your 360 days is done?
 
will someone give me a link to a direct download of RC2 please?

i have my product key, but the M$ page just keeps sending me back to the data-entry page.

I'm assuming that regardless of what version you have they'll make you do a fresh install of the final version and not just upgrade whatever one you have.
 
It's probably a good idea to set up a dual boot if you try it out. Then if you upgrade your main OS (or even if you stay with regular XP), you'll have easy access to the drive that contained the beta.
