My friend just got an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ along with some other upgrades for his system. He is very happy, but when he went to go install the beta version of the Windows 64 bit OS, it would not let him install any device drivers, so he had to settle for regular old Windows XP Professional. Does anyone have any insight as to why this might be happening, or any remedial actions that he and I could take to get the Windows 64 bit beta version OS to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

, actually make sure he's installing 64 bit drivers i think the forum has a sticky w/ some in the operating systems category. most companies don't have 64 bit drivers out yet but if your friend has an nforce mobo then the nvidia 64 bit drivers should work fine.
