Windows 2k Slow log in window...

Hmmm...just have a question, I would be booted into the windows desktop that has the little win2k windows that says enabling network connections blah blah blah...and then it would disappear and the login window would replace it. The problem is, after the stat. window disappears, my login window takes forever to appear...i would just sit and at the blue windows background wondering whats going on...anyone have an idea how improve the speed?

Download the bootvis tool from Microsoft, it might run on Win2k but might not. Also look at various tweaking pages that describe what services you can enable or disable, and check what applications are being started at Windows startup.
