I have had a very stable amchine for many months. But recently I have had odd total shutdowns. No warnings no restarts.
It only occurs when I use compression tools i.e. Winrar or Winace. And now I have lost two DVD-r's to this shutdown.
Once with nero and once with Record Now Max.
I can't see it's down to the programs, but what I hoped for is an answer to this.
When I look at event viewer under computer management, there are loads errors.
The two most common are RasMan and service control manager.
There are a few srv - warnings.
What do these three mean.
Can anyone help.
