I'm running Win2K Pro and every now and then the system will hang, I have checked the system for worms, viruses, and trojans and I did not find any. When the system hangs I do not receive any error messages. Has anybody had this problem and how did they solve it
what mastertech said + try going into your system properties, selet advanced, start up and recovery settings, and set it to not automatically restart on errors, that way you can see if there is a bsod code, and what that code is.
He hasn't mentioned any restarts, but I would recommend going to the system properties also. From there choose the Hardware tab, and click on Device Manager. See if any device is behaving badly. A device not working properly will normally have a yellow exclamation circle over it.
