I am installing Win 2K on a friends computer that is almost strictly used to play music in his shop. He has a 320 GB Seagate drive installed. Initially it appears that 2K will only format about 137 GB of this drive. I have the 2K installed on a 40 GB spare drive and have SP4 installed as well. When I look at the 320 GB drive after booting on the 40 GB drive, I still only see 137 GB from within disk manager. Do I need to do the registry patch to get full normal support of the 320 GB drive? If that is the solution is there any dangers inherent in implementing this in the future, like corrupting the drive or such? Your help will be greatly appreciated, I need to get this machine running for him tonight.
Thanks.
Thanks.
