Windows 2K and Viper II Drivers

I am trying to load Windows 2000 on a computer that has a Diamond Multmedia Viper II Z200 video card. Win2K loaded up just fine but I can't get any driver to load for this video card. I downloaded the 2K version off the Diamond website but it is not being recognized by the OS as a valid driver, or a driver at all for that matter. I have updated the BIOS to the current version on both the video card and the motherboard. MS does not show the Viper II as compatible hardware with 2K on their website.

Is it time for an Nvidia based card??
