Windows 2003 server remote desktop.

This problem just appeared out of no where. I have only seen one other instance of this problem by using google. When in login with remote desktop client to the windows 2003 server machine, it logs me in then says loading settings then it pauses, then it says saving settings and the screen closes. I dont know whats causing this. Nothing I know of has changed. AD isn't running, the user has permissions to use remote desktop, this has me baffled.

This just happened to a friend of mine last week.

It may or may not be the same problem, but he fixed his by installing a different version of his nVidia drivers for the card that was in the machine.
