Windows 2003 Launch Event ATL

Software is trial....doesn't really matter, I downloaded full version in April. 2003 is a server OS and XP is a client. Like 2000 server vs. 2000 pro.

I loved how people started to walk out after that crash....

also, the NT4 --> 2k3 session was a joke. That dood was clueless

LOL, they had another live demo crash? Like the one where Bill Gates plugs in the scanner (Win98 prerelease demo)? 😉

I want to know about this so called "crash." I'd really be surprised if there was one however MS never prepares for their events in advance and could have easily used a crappy motherboard which crashes. I have one of those myself.

It was not an OS crash, but rather application crash..you know the one that asks you to send the crash to M$? Still funny tho 😛

so whats the benefits over XP?

it is Windows Server 2003, not a desktop OS, no comparison to XP, other than it looks like Windows 2000 Server with the XP GUI, sorta

They were showcasing Office 2003 and the box was running several copies of Server 2003 and XP when Powerpoint 2003 crashed. No big deal, it isn't released yet.
