The primary HDD w/c is 80GB was fully recognize..but the 2nd HDD 320gb but just recognize as 125GB something...

Is there a patch to recognize the full capacity of my 320GB as a whole (not partition) under Windows 2000 pro SP4...????

Or I really have to partition it...

Pls help...

It probably has more to do with the BIOS of your PC. Look into a BIOS update.

I find it hard to believe that 2k SP4 with the latest patches wouldn't be capable of detecting over 125GB.

Is it a SATA or regular (PATA) hard drive? I believe that PATA hard drives have a jumper setting to limit to 125GB. Does the BIOS show it as 320GB?

Also, was Win2000 at SP4 level right from the get-go, or did you patch to SP4 level after installing?

Yes but you need to alter the registry as indicated in the knowledge base article to see the full amount of the drive.
