Windows 2000/XP transferring files

Hello,

I am at work and a fellow worker wants to save some jpeg files on to a shared folder i have created on my system.
He is running Windows XP Pro and I have Windows 2000 Pro. I (2000Pro) am able to see and transfer files to his XP system network account but when he tries to enter my network user account to transfer a file, he gets a dialog box to enter a user name and password.
I have created & shared a folder, applied full control permissions and made sure we are in the same workgroup. Everyone else in the network can see and add files to other shared folders, this might work because they all run XP, except for me (2000). They have problems transferring files to my shared folder.

Does anyone know any fix or where the problem might be?

thanx!
