Windows 2000 + WPA?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought as long as you use the manufacturer's utility for a WPA-supported card in Windows 2000, WPA would work.
 
I have WPA working on my P2 300 laptop that has win2k on it. It's all in the drivers/software for the wireless card / hardware.
