Windows 2000 Virus or Not?

I am running Windows 2000 as a Proxy server and we will call that computer #1 and I have another computer that is not connected to the proxy server and have a Firewall installed and we will call that computer #2, the firewall on computer #2 it is telling me that there is data coming from computer #1 which is the proxy machine and being sent through computer #2 to IPs all over the internet and every time that the firewall on computer #2 logs one of these the Port Number increases by 1 each time. I have scanned computer #1 for viruses and it hasen't found anything, I have scanned computer #2 and it didn't find anything either. The firewall has blocked these requests but I want to get rid of the problem anyway.

Is this a Virus or is there something in Win2K that it don't know of that Scans Ips and Ports. And could it be that its not computer #1 (proxy) that is doing it but could it be a computer connected to the proxy? I have no idea what is causing this, I am about ready to format the drive and start over because it is driving me crazy.

Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
