Windows 2000 User Management for a Newbie

Does anyone have any resources for a newbie on user management/user groups/policies, etc.

basically I want to set up a few local accounts with different permissions for different members of my home to use. really simple. I'm running win2k pro.

thanks

i am doing the same thing myself right now
do you have the drive using ntfs? if you do, you will have a security tab under the file or folder properties, and you can set permissions there. also, have a look at local security policy, under administrative tools, this allows you to change a number of setting and options...hope this helps, sorry i have no faq's to recommend

Yah my drive is using NTFS.. I don't understasnd why when I deny permission to guests, it denies it for admin too

this whole thing is pretty confusing =)
