Windows 2000 Task bar and quick launch Icons

For some reason, the task bar icons under programs and quick launch Icons for every program but the office Icons are black box's. I don't know if this is a registry problem, a display problem, or a graphic adpater problem. Could somebody lead me in the right direction?

when poingting the mouse over the ocons, can you see anything?

Sounds like the icon cache is corrupt. Delete the following file:

\Winnt\ShellIconCache

It is a hidden file with no extension. Delete and reboot. The file will be recreated upon reboot, and you icons should appear properly.
