Windows 2000 Start Bar not working, help please!

So I went back to Windows 2000 after trying out Windows XP (long story), and after I reinstalled Windows 2000, I copied the contents of my old profile folder under Documents and Settings (in Windows XP), and put it in my Windows 2000 profile folder. Everything works great (all my e-mail is there and everything), but the start menu bar is messed up. My quick launch toolbar is on the left side of the screen like usual, but it takes up almost the entire start bar and is impossible to resize. There is a line where it ends, but I can't click on that line and move it like usual. This is very annoying, any thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks.
