Windows 2000 SP4 installation error (ipsec)

We have a few computers at work that need to be upgraded to SP4.

When we run the SP4 install, we get an error "Could not find ipsec.sys in directory <Temporary Directory>..."

Now I believe it's some kkind of virus/worm even though nothing I've run will detect it.

I've tried coping the ipsec.sys file for another computer and put it on the problem machine but the system won't let me.

It's really wierd.

First of all, does anyone know what this is?
Second, what are some good programs that search for a wide variety of trojans/worms?

Have you tried downloading SP4 again? The download may have been corrupted.

I've downloaded it, plus we have a copy on cd that we have used on many machines flawlessly.
